Front of House Supervisor

Heritage Hospitality Recruitment are currently looking for a Front of House Supervisor for a bistro-style restaurant situated on a wine estate in Somerset West.

Responsibilities -

 Customer service with attention to detail
 Supervision of Front of House Staff and Beverage staff
 Ensuring all Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to
 Developing and maintaining relationships with guests, ensuring they feel welcome and that they want to return as often as possible
 Working with the restaurant reservation systems
 General restaurant administration
 Leading by example to instil a passion for food and wine into staff on an ongoing basis

Requirements -

 Hospitality diploma or equivalent
 2+ years experience in a similar position,
 Excellent people and communication skills
 A strong sense and understanding of what constitutes good service
 A team player
 Strong administration skills
 An ability to effectively deal with difficult customers
 For noting: The restaurant operates from Monday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch service with the occasional private function in the evening. The successful candidate, would as such, be required to work on a 5 day a week shift basis that includes weekends shifts.

Restaurant Receptionist

Please note this is a fixed term contract available until end April 2019.

Requirements -

 Hospitality diploma or equivalent
 1+ years experience in a similar position,
 Excellent people and communication skills
 A strong sense and understanding of what constitutes world class service
 An ability to form positive relationships with customers on an ongoing basis
 A team player
 An ability to effectively deal with difficult customers
 Strong computer skills (word and excel)
 For noting: The restaurant operates Monday to Sunday for lunch service as such the successful candidate would be required to work weekends on a shift basis.

The package on offer is negotiable depending on experience.

Front of House Controller

Please note this is a seasonal contract from mid to late October 2018 until end April 2019.

Bartender

Heritage Hospitality Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity!  We are currently looking for a female Bartender for a landmark hotel in Muscat, Oman - part of a well-recognized international hotel group.

The ideal candidate will have -

  • Hospitality related qualification

  • Minimum 1 year's bar service experience, preferably in a 4-5 star environment

 

The package on offer includes -

  • Flight from South Africa to Oman upon successful hiring as well as return flight to South Africa once the contract (24 months) is completed

  • OMR 170 a month salary (approximately R 6500) - tax free

  • Service charges (tips) in addition to salary

  • Accommodation - fully furnished shared room within walking distance of the hotel

  • All meals supplied by the hotel cafeteria (even on days off)

  • Uniform

 

The company arrange a work permit and the the contract is for 24 months with 30 days leave per annum. It is a 6 day work week (9 hours per day, including 1 hour for lunch).
