Heritage Hospitality Recruitment are currently looking for a Front of House Controller for a bistro-style restaurant situated on a wine estate in Somerset West.
Please note this is a seasonal contract from mid to late October 2018 until end April 2019.
Customer service with attention to detail
Supervision of Front of House Staff and Beverage staff
Ensuring all Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to
Developing and maintaining relationships with guests, ensuring they feel welcome and that they want to return as often as possible
Working with the restaurant reservation systems
General restaurant administration
Leading by example to instil a passion for food and wine into staff on an ongoing basis
Hospitality diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in a similar position,
Excellent people and communication skills
A strong sense and understanding of what constitutes good service
A team player
Strong administration skills
An ability to effectively deal with difficult customers
For noting: The restaurant operates from Monday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch service with the occasional private function in the evening. The successful candidate, would as such, be required to work on a 5 day a week shift basis that includes weekends shifts.
