CHEFS

Chef de Partie

Heritage Hospitality Recruitment are currently looking for a Chef de Partie for a luxury country hotel situated in the Natal Midlands, close to Nottingham Road.

The ideal individual will have a culinary qualification, and have at least 1 year's experience in a Chef de Partie role for a similar establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be fully aware of all the Health and Safety regulations.

  • Responsible for the day to day running of any given section.

  • The cleanliness, stock control, organisation and standards of the section.

  • Ordering on a daily / weekly basis, whilst keeping in mind stock usage, menu planning and business levels.

  • Training of Commis Chefs on section, delegation of tasks to Commis and Demi Chefs

  • Constantly advising Chef on needs and ordering requirements.

  • Assist other Chef de Parties and help each other keep motivated and focused.

  • Take part in any training required.

  • Able to take control an create team spirit.

  • To be full aware of all hygiene control and chemicals used in Kitchen environment

  • To have full knowledge of and be able to act upon the fire procedures, as set out in the Company Policy and Procedure.

  • To work as part of a team in a constructive manner that enables the business to achieve the objective of being a market leader.

  • To have a committed approach to the development of creative service in the kitchen.

  • To be responsible, whilst liaising with the Head Chef for your own development.

 

The package on offer is negotiable depending on experience. There is the possibility of accommodation, should it be required.

Demi or Chef de Partie

Heritage Hospitality Recruitment have a lovely opportunity available for either a Demi Chef de Partie or a Chef de Partie for a luxury safari lodge situated in a private reserve in the Waterberg, Limpopo. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Culinary qualification

  • 6 months to 1 years’ experience in a professional kitchen

  • Internship/work experience in a 5 star hotel or lodge

 

The salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience and includes accommodation and meals.

Head Chef

  • Experience as a Senior Sous or Head Chef

  • 5 star boutique hotel or lodge experience a must

Head Chef

Heritage Hospitality Recruitment have an exciting opportunity available for a Head Chef for a restaurant situated within a market-style venue, with a range of other offerings including a butchery and deli.  This position oversees the restaurant kitchen only.

The restaurant has an a la carte menu and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner (except Sunday evenings).  There is a strong management team in place, and the kitchen has a brigade of around ten.

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Head Chef, with experience in well-recognized establishments.

 

The package on offer is negotiable in the region of R 25 000, plus incentives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Culinary qualification

  • Strong Sous Chef experience, in 4 or 5 star hotels/lodges

  • International experience a plus

 

The salary on offer is highly competitive, and negotiable depending on qualifications and experience, and includes accommodation and other benefits.
